Blueberry Fields Forever

I slept in today ladies.  I didn't get out of bed until 8:53 am and I only did because I had to tinkle!  GRrrrrrrr

However, I woke up refreshed and ready to bake!  Bake bake bake .... and I had the perfect mix.   We got these cute little mixes when we were in Georgia for Thanksgiving.  I was going to put them in my Christmas baskets, but then I decided I need to keep them.   I am excited about the carrot cake one, but I decided to make the blueberry ones because Vandy, my husband, just adores blueberry anything.  Not to mention, the blueberries are good for the brain and I could use all the brain power I can get these days. 

Are they not just the cutest little ideas for muffin mixes?   I made the blueberry mix and added a 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries after I took this picture and they were so yummy!  The kit made 6 perfect size muffins.  It's nice to have just six, instead of the box of twelve.  HOWEVER, I made this plate for Vandy and an identical plate for myself.  I went into the kitchen a little bit ago and the other two were missing too!!!  I YELLED upstairs, "Vandy, did  you eat the other two muffins" and ever so quietly he says, "I guess so."  I GUESS SO????    I guess so, eh?

And now you can see the blueberries I added.  Tada!  I am not sure what I will make this afternoon, I did not get all my baking desires fed with this batch of muffins.   Perhaps had I gotten ONE more muffin, I might be way too full to think about bakign anymore.  lol 

So, off I got to shower and find something else to cook, bake or make ..... oh and the title of today's post.  I do know the song is Strawberry Fields Forever.  lol  That is all I can remember of the song though .....
