Thursday, Manic Thursday

Good morning, good morning!! We are to Tennessee tonight, on our way to Florida! I am so very excited. I haven't packed, but I did got some serious chores done. (Remember my OCD cleaning sister is coming?) I hinted I wanted my house cleaned, she didn't bite, hence serious chores done. I remember when I was working full time, I had the luxury of a domestic goddess coming into my house every other week to clean and I would clean before she got here. What kind of oxymoron does that? I didn't clean the big stuff, what would be the point in paying her then? Anyway, some days, like yesterday, I miss that.

So, have a great week while I am gone, I am not sure if I will be able to report in! I'll miss you all and remember I have "mad" love for you all. Until then ....

Come out come out where ever you are ...

The sun came out this morning in all its glory -- bright and round and it looks like a beatiful day to hang sheets out to dry. So with that being said, I'll be in the basement, doing laundry and going through summer clothes. Wooohooooooo

Oh, and I forgot to mention! I went to the new livelovescrap location and it's sooooo cute! Not much longer and we'll be moving in, it's so very quaint. There is something to be said about too much room. I love quaint and cute!

Manic Monday

My list is long and my days are short -- we leave for Florida Thursday evening, by way of Georgia. We are going to stop and visit with my sister in law and her family! We'll get the the resort on Saturday afternoon and I can hardly wait. I know Florida is in a drought, so it is wrong of me to wish for no rain for a week while we are there? I am wishing, not praying; I think there is a difference! tee hee

Remember me mentioning my sister is coming to care for my dad for the week? The problem is, she is a NEAT freak, a lot OCD, which means I have to make my house spotless. Not an easy task for me to do .. I love a super clean house, but I hate cleaning. I HATE cleaning. Give me any other chore and I'll do it. This year for my birthday I want someone to "spring" clean my house. Nothing else, that's all I want. Unless I could sponge some of my sisters OCD cleaning skills. So, getting back to the cleaning, I better get off of here and start my list, I work way better from lists.

Sunday and still no rain

I thought it was suppose to rain .. not a drop yet ... perhaps after church ... I am excited about my family going to church today. I honestly don't like going without them. I need them beside me, no matter what the message of the week is, it just doesn't resonate unless both Addie and Vandy are with me. Silly, huh? So I am excited today. And the music just fills my soul and my week is just great when I attend and blah when I don't. I suppose there is a message in that as well.

Vandy started the "grilling" deck yesterday. I want a stone floor, he wants wood. This might be a battle I can't win, he has MY father on HIS side. I'll start posting pictures of the progress and perhaps scan in the sketch, my stone floor that I filled on his wood deck sketch. It's mine too! lol
