He asked me what I was seeing him for, how it happened, how long has it been bothering me .. you know, the blah blah blah stuff. He gets me on the table. NO NO, get your minds out of the gutter! He asks how bad is it? I say something light and silly like you read the MRI, you tell me. He then says, well I don't examine MRI's, I examine patients. Hmmphh, little stuffy. I am the one in pain here, he looked perfectly health! I can have a weak sense of humor!!
Anyway, after his PAIN MAKING motions with my left arm, after he said oh that's not good, after some pretty big tears of pain, after a hundred HUGE words, I was right.
SURGERY on my rotator cuff, something is catching in there and my shoulder isn't suppose to POP up like that.
NO KIDDING????
So then, the cute little pregnant nurse comes in, hands me a package about the surgery and some exercise to do so my shoulder doesn't get any stiffer and then tells me it takes about 4 - 6 weeks to get in!!!!
FOUR to SIX WEEKS????
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
DO YOU SEE the PAIN I am in???
I got on the waiting list. Oh boy! I still think it is cool that he has evening hours. Don't you think?
P.S. I am going to post something FUN tomorrow; I need to get my mind off of the constant pain. I promise it will be so much more cooler than a surgeon that is booked 4-6 weeks out and has evening hours!
Oh Allie, I'm so sorry, sweet cuz!
